Really want one but...
...every time we look at a Class C my wife says "too small".
Why am I sold? Fiberglass and Adzel. Note we currently have a TT that leaked, and try as I might, Eternabond everywhere, the water is still wicking in. Then again, it is 11 years old.
Since we are going to Hershey, what model should I bring her into that will knock her socks off right away and say, "this isn't so small". Would it be the 3050?
Note I really like the 2860 for the outside kitchen, but she may say "too small"!

3010DS
Lots of counter space and plenty of room with the 2 slides.

Look at the 3010. It has the most counter space in any of the class c models. The amount of inside storage space is also very good. We have had one for two years and love it. Outside storage space is also great.

Really want one but...
We have the 2860 and it works for us
(Love the out side kitchen)
But...she won't be wowed with lack of counter space. We like the living space though.
3010 should wow her if it doesn't?
Better start looking at class As ;-)

Got a plan...
I'll bring her into the 2860. If "too small", I'll bring her into the 3010. Then, she may say "much better". Then, we steer clear of the "A"'s!!

I love the 3010ds, but I have 5 kids, so it's the 3170ds for us. The 3010ds is so spacious for a smaller family or a couple!

What I think is nice about the 3010 is it has a feel of separate living areas like you would have in a big A
Couch TV,
Kitchen eating wraparound booth
Bedroom
Big counter
If it had the outside kitchen that would have been us

OK, went to Forest River area at Hershey. With some coaxing, and input from Paul, the Forest River rep, got my wife interested in both the 3010 and 3050. We went back and forth between the models and the analogous Foresters. We will likely go back tomorrow and look again. When we left, 1st choice was a 3050, but she was also very interested in the Thor ACE 30.1 which is a similar layout to a 3010. We'll see what tomorrow brings.

Agreed! We have a new 3010ds and the only thing we wish were bigger were the bathroom and shower. But even many class A models are not much larger until you go way up in size and price.

We have the 3050S and have just enjoyed our first summer with it completing 31 nights !We love it and there is so much storage.Love the clothes hamper hidden in vanity and outside trash as well as the flip up counter and kitchen configuration. It all works very well for us( just two of us).My husband is thrilled with all the storage underneath!

We're the exception, not the rule and we travel 4 adults and at least one 4 year old in a 3170 and except for the kitchen its been fine. I would have to imagine that 2 people in a 3010 must seem like tons of space.
The back bedroom in our 3170 is tight, I'm not going to lie. I'm not sure if the 3010 uses the same micro queen bed or not but that's one area I wished were a little larger.
