Rear bumper for 2021 Sunseeker

Got hit and I need to replace it. I have found the bumper but itís worthless to me as it doesnít come with the brackets to attach to the frame. Anyone know where I can buy a new or used one?

Thanks in advance

You might want to add that info to your profile, or your signature like myself and others.

Hereís names and numbers for Classic line.
Have your VIN for the house part ready. Itís probably listed inside your kitchen cupboards.

Those bumpers are pretty thin. I would just have a welder cut the brackets off and reattach to some thick wall square tubing.

Searchlight

Somewhere in this land of electrons I read where somebody replaced the lightweight 4” tube with a 5” heavy wall and a much better mounting method. Just a little outside the box thinking.

When I had a tube bumper, I did this. Maybe the thought of a poo shower deterred getting rear ended.

Have a welder coming by in 3 hours to look and see what I want done. Brilliant minds think alike 😂

All fixed up. I’m currently in Wichita Falls Texas and I found a fabrication business who happened to have the right amount of steel. They came to campground and took off the old bumper. He took it to his shop to take the brackets off then weld the brackets onto new bumper. He came back in 3 hours with new bumper and installed it onto the rv. I need to paint it and will on Thursday when the wind dies down. It’s blowing 30 mph right now. He did all this for 250.00 bucks - oh and the new bumper is 1/4 inch thicker. I feel really blessed right now to have found this business.
Just another day in the full-time rv lifestyle

That's a steal at $250! I would have thought the metal itself would have been close to that.
On the other hand, I'm not sure I would have thought about replacing with the larger stock. Great idea, though.

He told me it cost him 8 dollars a foot. Now I did not ask him where he got it because I really didn’t care - it could be left over scrap I honestly don’t know. It looks brand new on the back of my sunseeker ❤️ A certain trailer supply online wants 389.00 just for the 8 foot price. Again I found my fabrication angle lol.

Jimbo

PS it’s on to the casino to press my luck

Been looking at this myself. I would just like to have a new one made that is much stronger with brackets that extend up the frame a good ways. That way I can mount a 2" hitch on it and keep my bike rack there with the ebikes on it. I think 1/8" thick 4" square tubing would be strong with beefed up and longer brackets.
