Automotive relays do fail from time to time. Fortunately, GM only uses two or three different types on the vehicle.

My son's trick is to swap the suspect relay with another one that has the same part number from a non-critical circuit, e.g., the rear window wiper or washer. If the original problem is fixed and the new area has stopped working, the question is answered.

The relay location/functions appear in the fuse maps in your owner's manual.

These relays are available at all the auto parts stores.

You might want to elaborate as to exactly what the problem is. i.e. intermittent starting, dash goes blank ect. Consider that the problem may not be the relay itself.
