Reliable Water Tank Gauge

I don't carry a lot of water in the tank for a number or reasons but I always make sure we have enough to do what we need between stops. The LED is OK but it is not granular enough for me. I usually pick of the bed to get a visual but that gets tiring after a while. So this weekend between fix-it jobs on the RV I actually made one improvement. I put a cable port with a flip lid in the bed frame and a light inside. Now when I want to fill the water tank I can open the port, look inside and you will see a clear water line. I.e. water will pass the light and the air above will look dark.
