Replaced Nasty Carpet in 2012 3011DS

I removed all of the cheap and nasty carpet in our MH. Forest River installs vinyl everywhere except halfway into the bedroom. Once removed, I carefully removed the staples and it's almost undetectable.

Then I bought a remnant of the best carpet and heavy padding that I could find and installed in the bedroom, under the dinette, and under the recliners. It feels SO luxurious now and is easy to maintain

We have about a 12" - 15" strip of carpet on the floor that is next to the slide out which is raised, not level. Did you have carpet in this place as well, or was it all vinyl going under the slide?

I need to do this on my 2014 340RK. I live in it 3/4 time, so I have to be careful with doing too much at the same time and making it unlivable.
Your pictures give me hope that it won't be a hard effort.
