Right Rear Bigfoot leveler won't fully retract

My Fortester has been sitting for about a year. I have used the levelers a few months ago to set my levelmatePro and they worked fine. Today I tried using them and the right rear goes down fine but only rises up 3/4 of the way, doesn't hit the pin switch but shows fully retracted. I cleaned the switch with contract cleaner and lubed the pin. I saw the push connectors to the switch were cracking and corroded so I replaced them. It still only goes up 3/4 of the way and shows fully retracted. Any ideas?

Fixed it, low on hydraulic fluid. I only use manual. Mine came with the non fully automatic. It has a leveler front to rear I think. But because I usually back into our favorite sites and have to raise the rears very high, I don't want the them coming off the ground and having nothing to prevent it rolling back and breaking the pistons. I works fine for me. Glad I had it happen at home and not up in Yosemite. I always carry a quart of HWH hydraulic fluid. Thanks

Glad that was an easy fix.

Question, the dealer had given me a quart of HWH hydraulic fluid when I had an issue the first year. That's what I used, but looking at the manual it says to use Dexron III. Are they compatible, maybe I need to call Bigfoot?

I remember a discussion on that subject a few years back. The verdict was that HWH is basically the same as Dexron III but without the red dye.
However, unless it reads full time use of Dexron is OK and not just for emergency, I would not use it. I say that not because of warranty issues but because I do not know if it will deteriorate gaskets/o rings or seals over time.

So Hello Quadra...

Never mind, found it's the same as DexronIII but without red color.
