So sorry for all your frustrations with your RV, benagi. Don't feel bad. After we picked up our new/used RV which was 5 hours away, a piece of tire tread on the freeway flew up from the car in front of us and cracked the fiberglass on the lower box part passenger side. The estimate is $1800 and luckily our insurance is paying most of it. We also need our slide outs adjusted. The service repair rate at this dealership that sells Sunseekers is $140/hr. I also just discovered our Dometic 15K a/c with heat pump isn't working properly and may need to be replaced! (Of course it was working just fine at CW.) That's probably an out of pocket $1,000 expense or more. Oh, but I did fix our toilet that wasn't holding water.
So far we camped in our RV one night and now it will be in the shop for awhile. No spring break for us!

Have you tried asking FR for advice? Would like to see photos of the roof repair and leak damage. Did they do the leak test before or after? You said the just did the corners.

Ben, your floor plan shows the back wall is continuous, so you're lucky in that respect that damage isn't hidden by a shower like mine. I'm sure FR can refer you to the appropriate dealer to handle further repair. Keep us up to date and Good Luck!

Haven't contacted FR yet. Waiting for contact info from my sales person at CW. Also, they did the leak test before. Don't think they did another after.
Yes on just the corners. When this model sits level and it rains, water pools up in the four corners of the roof and just sits there until it evaporates or leaks into your MH like mine did. Will take some photos this weekend.

Your problems are definitely worst than ours. When ours is not in the shop, we do enjoy it overall. Hope you get all your issues resolved soon, so you can get out and do some serious camping this season.

They all pool water because of the raised edging. Not like the rounded Winnebago roof. If I'm completely level, I can have water covering most of the roof and when I take off it all falls off the back or stop short and it runs off the front sides onto the mirrors. Not the best design.

Here's FR customer service 1-574-825-7000

Hope they're in tomorrow, probably not.

I know you don't want to sink more $ into it.
Looks like Straightline RV Repair by you does that kind of stuff, but at what price?

20 bucks worth of self leveling Dicor, maybe. Typical CW stuff.
if everyone quit dealing with them, they would go out of business and go away.

That's crazy. Really wish you lived close cause I'd make you the valance. Remember I made the bedroom slideout fascia out of maple and also made a valance to go over my entry door. Is your valance curved on the bottom and does it have sidelight valances (not sure what they call them)? They are easy to make out of real wood, cover with matting and fabric, vinyl and mount. Does the shade attach to the valance or the back wall?
Can you take a photo of another similar window? Is the paneling bunkled, too?
Fascia looks like what my slideout fascia was made of with paper backing..

Roof leak on rear cap - 3171DS
It's just one long piece that is the width of our unit. The purpose for this piece is to cover the gap where the back wall meets the ceiling. I think we will be able to come up with something soon. For now, I want to leave it open to watch for any further leaking and to make sure the problem has been rectified .
Side note. It smells a bit musty or moldy inside. Any suggestions without having to tear the entire rear of the coach apart?

OK, sorry I thought it was the window valance. That's the cornice and yes it's made of paper with a vinyl covering. That's $80 and $100 to ship? Crazy! I would get a piece of wood, bevel the edges and stain it the color of your cabinets, maple or cherry, then nail it up.

That's the plan we were thinking about Sage.
