Roof top covers instead of storage

Anyone use roof top covers on Forester? We are considering using a roof cover instead of storing in underground mine. We can't find any good reviews on roof top covers. We were told to stay away from full covers due to critters nesting.

I'm considering the same for my forester. My theory is the roof is really what I want to protect from the snow and ice and water. I have never used any full cover on any of my previous REv's.
