Sagging headliner in cab over on my 2017 Forester 3051S

I just purchased a 2017 Forrester 3051S. Once I got it home, I noticed the headliner over the cab sleeping area is sagging. It appears that at one time there was water leakage. Any ideas on how to repair this

In the old days with cars if it was just the fabric we would pull the fabric down and re glue it back up with a spay tack like Peratex or 3M. If the cardboard backer is soft or sagging or pulling apart (usually water damage) it usually meant a full replacement.
