Go to Walt-mart or some other store that sells Catsup and, Mustard dispensers. The old fashioned type.
Get some 1/4" vinyl tubing and stick stick one the end of the dispenser. Fill the bottle with bleach and stick the hose in the inlet supply and squirt it in the inlet line. You can also stick the tube in the top of the water heater Pressure relief valve (opened) and squirt a little into the water heater.. http://www.walmart.com/ip/Arrow-Plastic-00065-Mustard-And-Ketchup-Dispensers/48286373

I had the same problem. Solved it by buying bleach pellets. They look like peppermint candy. I broke a couple of them and placed them inside my water hose then connected the hose to my intake. Easy to do and no mess. I like the fact that i can store the rest in my compartment without worrying about spills.

how many ounces of bleach per gallon of fresh water should you be using? I forget.

One quarter cup of bleach for every 15 gallons that your fresh water tank holds.

3/4 of a cup but I put in a whole cup since it's 12 years old and we have no idea when it was last sanitized.
