Satisfaction in simple little projects

It's amazing how much satisfaction you get from the simplest little projects, especially when they go right. Getting ready for another trip in a couple weeks, and the wife mentioned she would like to have a magnetic dry erase board in the kitchen for little notes and grocery list. Also, she would like a small secure cubby to leave her phone, iPad or keys in when we go out for a while. $20 well spent on a board and a cabinet lock!!

Looks good.

We installed a magnetic board in about the same place to display magnetic refrigerator mementos. We put a 'sticky' white board on the pantry door for notes. https://smile.amazon.com/Removable-A...%2C198&sr=8-12
The lock is a good idea too.

It's the 'little things' that make a big difference in camping.

I need a white board. We move campgrounds often and my husband makes most of the reservations.
I never know exactly “where am I?” If I had to call 911 in the middle of the night, it would be ugly.

If you have a cell phone, you don't really have to know where you are, the phone KNOWS.

And the police/fire dept. can sue the signal to find you quickly.

That may be the case in some circumstances, but you can't rely on it. You should always be able to provide the 911 operator as precise a location as possible. Assuming you aren't incapacitated in some way, of course.

Even you knowing your location won't prevent delays in call routing. Your proximity to cell tower(s) can direct your call to a call center that's actually farther away.
