I have a 2014 Sunseeker 3170D that has a schraeder valve in each rear compartment. What are these for? Air shocks? Bought this in Dec. and of course it came with no manuals so everything is by trial and error. I just got a Tow Master Dolly and the manual for it calls for 18-24" +/- hitch ball height. As the coach sits right now, I have 13". Can I adjust that height with air if in fact these are air shocks? Thanks for any input...
You most likely have Firestone Ride Rite Air Bags. They are not air shocks and don’t operate the same way. Most folks have them set between 50 and 90 psi for a stability and level ride. I doubt you can get the height you need with them.
My suggestion is to use the bags to level under normal load and measure for the offset hitch receiver you need for your dolly. Just my .02˘

This is correct.
Just to add, you must always have 5-10 PSI in bags to prevent them from getting pinched and damaged. You may gain 1-2” of height with them fully inflated. They do tend to need topped off frequently. I run mine at 75 PSI.

Thanks for the replies all. Good info to know. Never dealt with bags before, just air shocks on an old El Camino. But I figured I might need an offset hitch. Guess I can get one at my local RV supplier or on line. Thanks again!
