That was one of the first things I did was to add the screen door bar

We are in the same boat as jack with our 2012 wildcat, the inside of the screen door in not flat it is contoured so you cannot mount one. Has anbody else ran into this and found a solution?

We have had the handle/screen door bar on our current motorhome and our old one, Both had plastic latches, have never had any problem from them, the old one was 10 years old and this one is going on 3 years.

Getting ready to add a screen door handle to our unit. Where should I go to buy besides CW?

You may try Wal-Mart. I saw one at the Livermore, Calif, location a few weeks ago. Price was about $10, if I recall.

Forgot to mention that we had previously bought ours from Camping World. Inexpensive addition, but more than worth it! Now I don't have to pull on the screen door to close it.

Just ordered mine from Amazon.ca along with a water bandit. Qualified for free shipping, with taxes all in the two items were $30 Canadian.

Thanks

If you have dogs, adding the screen grill(CW) is a great addition along with the handle. It will save the screen and adds a measure of safety that dogs won't break out.

Had one on my wildcat and kept it for my rockwood but the door is too wide, and I can't find a wider handle. Even wrote camco asking but never heard back.

yes, thumbs up for our screen door handle,..... one other inexpensive screen door mod that we wouldn't do without is a clear vinyl sheet attached to the outside of the screen door with Velcro,...... serves the same purpose as our clear glass storm door does at home,.... we can leave the door open for light or seeing out of even w/heat or air conditioner running,......bought heavy plastic from bulk roll in WM fabric dept., cut to door shape and attached to screen door with Velcro,... with the Velcro it can be removed when needed, but with doing this mod on two different tt's we've never found the need to remove it, .....if ventilation is desired we can always open the windows...............

The bar on our screen unlatches the screen door when we push on it.
