Self Leveling Jacks

Has any one experienced bolts breaking on the rear jacks. I had one break on both sides, where the jack mounts to the frame bracket. There are only two per side.

I've had 2 fifth wheels with them and never seen that happen. I would replace the ones that broke and definitely pull the others 1 at a time and inspect them. My only guess would be salt corrosion going by your in Ohio.

I have never had one break in 10 years of using a levelup system. However, I have seen that and can speculate on possible causal factors.
Over torqued bolts.
Side load. Raised too high in windy conditions.
Rear Wheels off the ground.
Too much “rocking the boat”.
Corrosion as previously mentioned.

Meanwhile, I would suggest replacing the OEM hardware with Grade 8’s. (They are supposed to be grade 8 anyway)
