Not sure what type of interstate batteries I would recommend. The ones that came with the unit have Canadian Energy on the sides. This 2014 unit has only 11,000 KMS on it so its likely they have not been replaced.
If you have some doubts just e-mail Mark Polk at RV 101, I find he is a great source of information. I am subscribed to his monthly e-mail letter and it always has good tips and advice on everything to do with any RV.

We have a 2014 2300 on a Chevy. We are very happy with it. The corner queen bed is what it is. One person will have to scoot down to the end to get out. It's an exercise plan.
I have been intending to write up a detailed review, and will at some point soon. I think what people don't realize is that compared to similar models with slides, the 2300 actually has MORE storage and the same amount of seating etc. What you gain with slides is the walk around bed, and some empty space in the middle.
We have done a lot of little mods to improve things here and there. Are they essential, no. So far, for 4 looong trips, we have not towed a dinghy. We have our system down pat on that score. It's very easy to drive into town. It's very easy to drive on the road. The Chevy version gets 10 MPG at 65 MPH in neutral conditions. Nobody knows what the new Fords will get with the 6 speed transmissions. Hopefully they will equal the Chevys.
Bottom line, the only reason we would get rid of this one now would be for a much larger RV, in order to sit for long periods of time on snowbird trips. We are undecided about that. We really like this rig.

How do you check the average MPG on the 2016 Sunseeker? The one we are buying has the touchscreen Jensen navigation screen.

I don't believe the Jensen navigation screen has a mpg calculator. If you have a basic cut away chassis, there is none there either.
Old school method. Fill the gas tank to capacity and take an odometer reading.
Drive until you fill up again. Take another odometer reading and subtract the first odometer reading from the last. That gives you miles driven. Take the second fill up figure which is how many gallons used since the previous fill. Divide the subtracted odometer reading (miles driven) by the number of gallons on the fill. That gives you miles/gallon.

If you have the curvy couch in the 2300 coach then there is additional storage space hidden behind the long drawer under the ride side next to the window. Take a look my misc album to see it. I cut the seat top to at about the 2/3 length mark and added a simple 2x4 cross bar fame. I use it to keep slow moving inventory like my electric impact wrench. Also a tub fits in there for the serious coats for just incase.
Tip of the day: if you trailer or toad mark your maximum angle of turn on your camera display with a dry erase markerer.

I've got the curved dinette in mine too and can attest to all the storage space on the street side. It's a bit of work to get into it as you need to take off the cushions along the wall, but for things not used frequently it's an excellent storage location. I used the space on the rear half of the dinette seat for storage. I cut the plywood in half, added a 2X4 for support and a piano hinge to make opening the trap door easier. I then bolted a small safe to the steel framework for the dinette. (bolted from the inside of the safe into the steel so there's no exposed bolt heads) If someone really wanted to get the safe out they could do so with a sawall or big prybar, but it will take some time.

One of the best mods I would offer for a 2300 is as to add 120 power to the rear bay.. also screen (mouse proof) the converter at the same time. From the rear bay you can get to the dump bay through the light fixture on the power cable side, and from there you can get to the water pump bay, thus power every where you wish.. the only hole added is the one for the box.

We have a 2013 2300 and have lived in it full time now for about 4 months. After the initial adjustment from regular home living, I love my 'tiny house'. We discovered the storage under the u-shaped dinette, and my husband simply removed the screws and added fabric handles to pull up the plywood. There is storage space behind the drawer as HogLou mentioned and also along the back and under the other side. Holds 4 - 5 good sized totes or boxes and odds and ends. We use the over-cab bunk area as a storage area (using baskets and light totes) for lighter items like the back cushions from the dinette, our printers, CDs/DVDs and a few clothing totes - nothing too heavy. It also leaves some room for my husband to stretch out and have his own reading space if he wants it. When we are stationary, we rigged up a shower curtain rod which hangs across the front (driver's and passenger seats) where we hang extra clothes; and we use that front area as extra storage for bulky grocery items. My husband installed a small TV in the bedroom area which I really like - and I love the comfort of our corner bed. Yup, it's a bit of my morning workout to slide out of bed, and it's a good workout to make the bed, but it is a very comfortable bed - and a good sleep is important to me. I also like to spend time there as my own personal space to read, study and write. Without the back cushions on the "curvy dinette", we use 'bed rest' pillows and stretch our legs out on the seat cushions. I'm sitting comfortably now, with my laptop computer as I type this. We remove the large table and replace with one or two smaller folding tables that we got at Wal-Mart, when we want more space.
We get at least 10 mpg and have the Ford 350. Our toad is a Jeep Wrangler Sahara and we have had no problem towing it with a Blue-Ox system.
For the last few weeks, we have been visiting with family who happen to have FHU area for when we visit. We have had full access to the large, quite beautiful family home since we've been here, and although I've taken advantage of having a few soaking baths, I find that I return to my "tiny house" on wheels when I want true comfort and to prepare meals. We sleep here too. We are totally comfortable - it's now 'home'. LOL
We're heading off to NM for a work camping job at a BLM campground soon and are looking forward to new adventures.
