Shower Enclosure

The front wheel on the shower door in my 3170 comes out of the track each time it is opened. There is a removable tab that allow ones to remove/insert the door that is held by a screw, however the tab doesn't appear to be substantial enough to keep the door in track under normal use. Anyone else experience this and if so any solutions?

Yes but ours is the rear clips on the bottom, not the front ones. We are able to just ignore the rear and leave them be. If it were the fronts, that would be another story.

Ours is a 2011 and has lasted this long. When the day comes that it ignores me to the limit, I plan on ripping out the whole sliding door and foot cutting track and replacing it with a simple shower curtain and rod.

I have a 2012 2650 and just took our glass door off and put up a shower curtain............amazing how much more room and no more bumping the door.

Had the same problem with our Solera. I made a replacement piece out of some aluminum from a stove vent pipe I had lying around. The stove vent aluminum is easy to cut (scissors) and shape (hand/pliers). I made the replacement piece longer than the original and bent the top edge sharply over so it hooks on the track on both sides of the opening. Also glued in place with "GOOP" - which covers any sharp edges. Seems to have solved the problem.
