Side window sticks

We are struggling with our side windows in the living and kitchen area, particularly the one over the sink. It sticks and is very difficult to push open. Do you have any suggestions for ways to cope with this?

Open it and put talcum powder/baby powder on the gasket.

A little silicone spray in track then wipe off any excess use the rag with the excess on it to wipe the excess silicone on the rubber seal. It should slide good after. That's how I was taught to care for rubber door seals in cars. Hope it helps.

Great ideas. The talcum powder seemed to do the trick, but keeping silicone on the back burner just in case!
