Slide Control

Where is the slide control box located on a 2017 3010DS? I asked the service writer at the dealership and he didn’t know [emoji15]

Assuming in-wall slide out system (schwintek) and you have two slideouts, look in the compartment below each slide or under things like a bed, cabinet etc. You are looking for two boxes that are about 3x5” with wires and plugs.

Edit: or follow the wires that come out from the inside corners of the wall frame.

Thanks, Found the bedroom slide control under the bed. Unfortunately it's located near the top of the bed and there's not much room to access the box once we raise the bed. Also, it would be unfortunate if the bed should fall while under there messing with the controls. It would be nice if the bed was raised with pneumatic lifters but there doesn't appear to be a good area to mount them.
Haven't located the box for the large dining/sofa slide.

“...under there messing with the controls.” is a very very scary statement. Other than reading a fault code or doing an emergency override, things can go south quickly if you don’t know exactly what you are doing. Hate to see costly damage done by tinkering in a no tinkering zone.

Sorry, bad choice of words. By no means do we try to work on anything without having written instructions in hand.
