Slide Out Motors

Can anyone tell me where the slide out motors are on a Forester 3011DS? And is that where the manual retraction operation is?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Living room is a below floor Lippert slide. Manual retraction is below the unit. Should be a shaft point down in the roof of one of the compartments.

Bedroom is a Lippert In-Wall slide. Motors are at the top. If you search there are several references and links to videos on how to retract them. You can also check youtube.com for the Lippert videos.

trwmodela,
Thanks for the video. Now I just have to figure out where the circuit board is located. There must be an access panel somewhere.

Mine is under the cabinet that houses the 3 burner cooktop. There is a panel with four small screws. Yours maybe different because mine is a #3051S single full slide.

On my 3011 the Circuit board for the Bedroom slide is mounted under the bed.

It is an easy system to understand and override. I helped someone a year ago push his slide in after releasing the two motors located at the top. But one great feature is the safety device. It stops when something restricts movement. Some Class "A"s don't have this, neither did my Newmar Dutchstar.

Mine is behind the panel at the front of the pass through storage. I stumbled on it running my inverter wiring, I could be anywhere they decided to screw it and not necessarily in the same place as other units.

Time to go on an recon mission.
