Slide pantry

On our 2015 3051S Forester, the pantry does not stay locked when traveling. I have added two more slide rails for added support. The rail on top has broken and serves no purpose. I have tried adjusting the push button latch with no results. Does anyone have a fix for this problem? Forest River has since gone to a door that opens and the pantry slide is locked with a bunk latch and is more secure. I may try to add this system but would like a fix until I can get it done. Thank you for any suggestions.

Buy a heavier duty latch. Google 10lb - 15lb cabinet latches. We replaced most of our drawer/cabinet latches and never have open cabinet surprises now.

Pantry slide

Thanks for the suggestion, but that is the only latch available unless I can change the design.
