Snap pads

We have a Sunseeker 3010 and would like some feedback from fellow Seekers about using the snap pads on the feet of the leveling system. We normally camp in state campgrounds. So Our questions are:
1. How is the clearance now that you add the snap pads? Have you bottomed out or hit something while driving?
2. How often did you still have to add something like a pad or wood plank under the feet even though you use the snap pads?
3. Most importantly, would you add them if you had to do it all over again?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Don't have snap pads. Carry plastic and wood pads and use as necessary.

I have several friends that use snap pads and love them. None of them have a Sunseaker though. They do reduce clearance about an inch, so if you think that may be a problem then it may be. One of my friends did lose a snap pad when it contacted the road, but he said it was him problem. I do not remember the exact conditions when he lost the snap pad. By the way they no longer carry wood or such to put under the jacks.
