Solar controller

I have a brand new Forester Classic 3011DS and the PV is reversed on solar. I need to swap the positive and negative on the controller as the solar is not working. Does anyone know where the controller is located?

before touching the controller

check the panels .......... make sure that they are wired together correctly.

If you can't access the controller, how do you the PV is hooked up with reverse polarity? If it is brand new, why not let the dealer sort it out under warranty?

If its a warree controller (Forest River likes these), You may want to look up the controller instructions and wiring on the internet before you swap wires around.
The one they installed in my 26RR uses a positive ground for a 50W solar panel. Found this out when I installed a 275W panel and MPPT controller. Ended up having each solar panel with its own controller because it was way easier than trying to undo the positive ground fiasco...

I have checked all the error codes and am an electrical Engineer. The error Xcode states that the + and - are reversed. A simple 2 minute fix, not rocket science. ��

The control was on floor under cabinet near the batteries. Just need to take out two bottom drawers to get to it. Someone asked how do I know if I haven’t seen controller. Might be because I was an electrical engineer for 34 years ��. Put a volt meter on the +/- and it read a negative voltage which proves it was reversed. Swapped the wires and all is functioning properly. Took 5 minutes verses driving an hour to dealer and leaving it. They didn’t even know where the controller was. Lol

my worry is...... if they can get the wiring wrong at the controller

what mess did they do..... at the panels.
especially if there is multiple panels.

Agree. They are not very bright as both wires are white with no identification. They must not have very good quality control
