Stinky slinky - phase I
Well I got my Super Slider from D&W and the rhino sliinky fits great. I got it fitted but the rain came so it is not mounted yet. i used jack stands and left my DW alone for this project...
Obsevations:
Fits great under the chassis in my (2300). Runs across the coach from a inch back beneth the sewer bay door to about three inches past the passenger rear bigfoot.
Still sits way higher than the big foot jacks, Cant see it from the back.
Clears the leading edge of the spare tire by about 3/4".
Only needed to drill two holes for the whole project, (5/16 bolts) in the sewer bay to hold up the access end.
Bought two straps at tractor supply to mount the non access side (see pic). I used the existing extra hole in bigfoot cross bracket to mount the non access end. Where the two metal straps meet is the bolt that will attached to the big foot cross bracket. I am calling it the non access side as I decided not to run the tube the entire width of the coach and will utilize the tube from the rear drivers side.
You want to put the smaller diameter towards your access end as this prevents the slinky from catching on the diameter lip change.
The adjustable length tube is the only way to go.
Ideas:
What are the thoughts of drilling drain/air holes (and where) in the now pristine tube?
I will post photos once it is mounted when the weather cheers up....
