Stupid question [emoji51]

I have a 3011 DS. Can we run the generator as we travel down the highway with the motorhome AC on...not the cab AC?

We have the same model. (2016). We took a round trip cross country trip from Ga to California in July. Ran the generator most of the time with no problem. It did affect the gas mileage a little.

I thought we could and started out that way but soon after I realized it wasn't working anymore. So by the end of our 6 hr journey the motorhome was HOT!! Turns out the breaker for the AC was tripped that was under the bed. Hope we can figure out what the reason behind that was so we don't have to travel back like that!

We traveled with the genny going to run the back AC's for years so the kids didn't sweat to death.
As for the breaker tripping, make sure you genny is "up to speed" before you try turning the AC on.
To test it, unplug from shore power, turn on the genny and once it is up to speed, turn on the ac and see what happens.

Not a stupid question...ive gone through 4 coaches now and have always ran the gen and rear AC while moving. We currently have a 3011 and it gets pretty warm in the back if we don't run it. Like someone else said though, keep in mind it will affect gas consumption. Not a whole lot.

You are suggesting to run the coach AC and not the cab air. You can run both of them if you want. As to the breaker. Not sure on that.
