Subwoofer in Sunseeker

Anyone else have a subwoofer inside their dinette base? Our 2014 came with a Jensen system instead of the Magnavox or whatever was coming before. In includes a subwoofer in the dinette.

I finally got around to messing with it. There are knobs on it for volume, frequency, and a switch with 2 choices of phasing. I know nothing about subwoofers, so I left the phase set at 180, and I put the volume and frequency knobs in the middle. It had been off until now.

I would think there should be an opening in the dinette base to let the subwoofer work better. Anyone know?

I think this is the unit. They have the wrong manual linked to it though. I have emailed them to find the right manual.

Subwoofers work fine even in confined spaces because low frequencies are not directional. You'll hear/feel it perfectly where it's at. Do a google search for information on how to set the volume and frequency to work properly with your surround speakers.

Any Sunseeker with surround sound will have the subwoofer. I've switched the language a bit in the brochure. It used to say 5.1 surround sound...the .1 being the subwoofer. I have since changed that to "surround sound with subwoofer". You're not the first person to have no idea. In fact a few weeks ago at a show a customer was telling me about the subwoofer they had installed. I asked what was wrong with the one that was in it and his response was "it has a subwoofer?". So now he has (2).
