Sudden power failure dry camping.

We have a 2019 Forrester Class C. We are dry camping, not connected to AC power. We had nothing on but a few lights. Sudddenly everything went out, the coach was completely dead as if I had throw the battery disconnect switch. After about 30 seconds the power was restored. Can anyone give an explanation of what may have happened.
It has never happened before and is quite disconcerting as we would have no way of bringing the slideout in and would be sort of stuck where we are.

Thanks for any suggestions.

My BIL had a problem where he would loose all dc power to his motor home as he drove down the road. Problem was the dc battery disconnect switch. The switch was the knob type that either was on or off. The switch was bad in that it would heat up and fail. After it cooled down it would work again.

If you were only operating a few lights it does not seem you would cause much heat but if you have a switch like that you might inspect it in the morning.

If it痴 going bad you can probably smell it.

I think the cabin battery off switch in rear goes to a relay that disconnects the cabin battery. Perhaps that relay gave out. If it happened again, perhaps tap that relay.

normal battery disconnects ... don't have a relay
it is simply a BIG switch with big wires between battery and fuse panel
turn the switch on/off ...
There is / may be ...... a relay style switch for charging while driving
and emergency joining battery to chassis battery if you have a flat starting battery

loosing power sometimes ... is a sign something is loose and can be a PITA to work out

a) start at battery make sure all cables are clean and tight
b) look positive cable resetable fuses
c) look at the NEGATIVE to FRAME connection for the battery and the converter

wiggle cables / switches / fuses connections
while someone inside the RV is on the phone with you
they can tell you when something goes OUT.

The CONVERTER negative to frame is usually pretty well hidden by the underbelly
but it is also protected from the elements ...

Look at the battery end of the wiring first...... as they are more exposed to water and dirt.
also make sure you include the connections to the fuse panel from battery.
