Is there a relay that controls charging the on-board batteries from the inverter?

We use a converter to charge the batterys when on shore power or the genny is running. There is a switch,under/side of the drivers seat to hit if the chassis bat won't start the engine. Connects the house bats to the chassis. There is a circuit breaker on the genny that sometimes trips and needs to be reset. Between genny and shore power is a transfer switch. That could be considered a relay, but no direct connection other to start the genny. That's to the best of my knowledge about the 3100SS.

We also have a 3100SS. There is no relay involved in charging the coach batteries. The convertor supplies 12 volts to the fuse/circuit breaker panel which is connected directly to the batteries through the battery disconnect switch. On our 2011 model, the battery disconnect switch must be turned on to charge the batteries. Other models or brands may be different.
