I am not aware of a generator autostart feature on my Sunseeker, and frankly I would disable it anyway if the feature was present.
I think the feature is only available on the LCI One Control screen or app. You can turn the feature on or off via the panel or app.

WRT the reference to CPAP, I just purchased a 12v wire for mine. Works like a charm. Likely 3-4 nights on the double house batteries without having to fire up the generator...

For our 2019 Sunseeker 3010, we found that everything was covered well by the existing plugs and 12VDC wiring to TV's. My wife does powdered energy drinks with caffeine in the morning, so its only me for coffee. I found the little Folgers singles bags work well for one or two cups, and I boil water on the stove. Any thing else requiring power, we just start the generator.

The one thing we found when boon docking and watching TV was the Playmaker satellite TV antenna and Dish receiver will lose its memory if you turn off power, so requires long re-boot every time you restart it. We bought a good quality 400W pure sine wave (PSW) inverter to keep it energized all the time, and plugged it into the 12VDC receptacle by the main TV. No more problems after that.

Invertor

We run the generator for microwave, coffee pot, A/C, or Instapot. All use 12 to 15 amps each. So, w/ a 3000/3500 boost watt generator we can run any 2 at once. I probable need to stock an extra breaker as DW forgets. Also most breakers are 20 amp, if both are on the same breaker it will trip.

110 v elec use

Our 2019 Forester 2861 did not come with an inverter. Using one for anything requires a lot of battery power which could kill them quickly. We also do not have an auto start generator feature. No way would I want that thing starting up on its own with the noise a 4000w generator makes. You can pour heated water from a pan though just about any drip coffee maker. We do that with a $14.00 Walmart B&D coffee maker. I would never want to disturb the campground with generator noise just to make coffee.

Seems like several folks don't want auto generator start. It can be disabled, you know.

Last winter I was camped at a state park. Outside temps around 40 degrees or so and a miserable light rain. Propane furnace working normal. Two TVs going and iPads and iPhones plugged into USB ports. Suddenly, the generator starts up. As soon as I hear it cranking I look at the microwave clock and discover there is no AC power coming to the coach.

I checked the pedestal and sho nuff it's not putting out any power. Went to the main office to check on the status of electricity and they told me it had been out since yesterday afternoon. So, that means I had been running on battery power for about 26-28 hours. If the AGS had not activated I would never have known there was a problem until the batteries got low enough to cause the furnace to go off line.

Is there enough battery to run the gas furnace all night?

Yes. But, keep in mind that the furnace does a really good job and it doesn't run continuously.

I have a 2020 Sunseeker 2860 DS. It came fairly optioned out, but doesn't have an inverter or automatic generator start. An inverter is an easy add-on, but gen auto start isn't something that's easily added.
The automatic gen start option would be handy if boondocking to be able to leave a pet at home alone on hot days.

I would never run the generator to make morning coffee. We use one of the aluminum pour over camp type coffee makers.

If you have two decent deep cycle batteries to power the "house" there should be no problem having heat and lighting throughout the night. Remember though that running the furnace in an RV isn't like cranking up the thermostat at home. You only have so much propane. If you keep your S&B at 70 you probably want to keep the camper around 60-62. Extra clothes or down comforters for sleeping help keep excessive battery drain in check.

I’ve found I have to keep a close eye on battery use but usually can get full heat, etc, all night and then most of the day before charging. However, I’ve never had a problem with running out of propane. Since my last fill up I used the heat for six camping days/nights and the gauge shows ⅞ full.

emm-dee, you're right about the propane, I should've added "too" in my post regarding available propane to go along with power consumption. I guess I still have that indelible camping trip a couple of years ago on my mind. It was the last trip of the season at Robert Tremain SP outside of Ithaca, NY, mid-November and the morning temps in the mid-20's. Like I posted, our thermostat was set at 60, my DW and I were dressed in layers and I was getting ready to set up the Coleman stove outside to cook our last outdoor breakfast of the year for ourselves and some friends who were camping in separate campers, one couple a class C rental. Our friend Deb comes into our rig and says it cold in there so my wife says she'll turn up the heat. Meanwhile, I proceed to out and do my breakfast thing cooking bacon, french toast and scrambled eggs. I take the first batch of food into the RV and just about fell over from the heatwave slamming me as I entered. Apparently our friend Deb went over to the thermostat and turned up the heat to 75! I made a vague joke like remark but left things as they were, it was the last trip of the year!

Makes the best coffee. Don't know why. Must be all in the head. We have 2 SS models. Same amount of time to prepare as an electric pot. Same time to heat. Prepare the night before.

We run it all night when needed. That's what it's for.

It's funny since we got our diesel coach last summer with a diesel genset, we found ourselves running the generator more often and longer with the mindset that diesels love to run.
