Sunseeker 3010DS RM1350 ice maker water line

Hi folks. I DIY and I need to replace this line. All "how-to" is about sliding this big heavy unit out of its hole. The shower wall backs up to the side where the ice maker attaches on this RV. I was wondering if anyone had pulled the shower wall and made an access cutout adjacent to where the water line enters the freezer in the wall paneling instead. One of those water tight access holes could also be put in the shower wall for future use.
This would make it a one person vs two person job. I've already been told to not use the heated line when I replace and just blow the water out in freezing weather.
Has anyone done this or have any thoughts?
Thanks in advance.

Why do you need to access the line to blow it out in freezing weather? In addition, the valve is at the bottom of the reefer, not where the line enters the freezer. You need to blow the water out from the bottom.

Sorry of I wasn't clear. I just need to replace the leaking line. I used to blow it out from the bottom, but now it's turned off, cause it has a hole between the valve and the ice maker. Thanks

Got it. I'd roll it out.

Thanks. There's a couple of videos where a platform is built to slide it out on, since it's about 15" above the floor and 195lb. It's on the list of things to do.
