Floor plans look similar.
I'm renting a Leprechaun for 3 days next week ( first time RVing with the family) but walked thru a Sunseeker today. Liked it's fit and finish as well.
Can anyone compare the two for me ?
Any differences especially below? Safety differences?
Hello Larry Mac. We were about to purchase a Leprechaun 319DSF when we looked at the 3010DS. The big fridge with ice maker, Fiberglass roof and enclosed underbelly (including waste tank valves) and having a full wall of storage in the bedroom won us over. We also liked the TV overhead vs on the kitchen counter. We've only had it for a few weeks with three trips and 2000 miles, but couldn't be happier with our choice.
Actually, no. Reason was that according to my research, unless you go Greyhawk or Redhawk by Jayco, you get the same ride/drive in all Class C of comparable length/weight. With the exception of the rubber pucks between the frame that Jayco uses, everything else is bolt on after market..... track bar, HD sway bars, steering stabilizer, shocks.
Just an FYI, the rubber pucks come from Ford on every Class C chassis. The issue is, with all the big slides it allows too much flex to be useful. Jayco leaves them on, but they still weld the floor directly to the frame. So while a nice marketing ploy, not really the most functional when you have steel to steel contact everywhere else. I've seen their stretch before everything was installed. Now, the Bilsteins and helper sings would help ride, but then so does he Ride Rite air bags on the Sunseeker.

Interesting on the pucks. As to the helpers, I measured the loaded rear spring gap to bump stops and if/when the leafs start to lose their arch they might be considered. Overall, we are satisfied with the way it rides and handles.
