Both years, we had a large attendance by a number of American FROGS from a number of states joining up for 4 days of fun with our Canadian FROGS.
If I say so myself......I’m pretty sure a good time was had by all.

We’ve attended a number of other FROG rallies ourselves, obviously a number of them in the states. We’ve always had great times. With FROGS, there are no boundaries.

When COVID allows, we have a guest spot for you up here.

FROG ON!
Thanks, I loved the fact that campaigning for office is limited to 30 days prior. We can learn a lot from our neighbors.
I don't recall if I ever joined FROG. I know we drove out to check out a rally here is So Calif at Calico back in 2016. Didn't see much happening as everyone was down at Peggy Sues diner for breakfast. We were on our way to the Grand Canyon.

Sagecoachdriver,

I understand your worries about gasoline and tires.

As a matter of safety, after a long stsnd still period of your RV, may I suggest to have a close look at the braking system.
I prefer running out of gas than running out of brakes !

Two years ago, one week before leaving for a three week trip on various graded roads, we had a brake line failure 25 feet off our driveway.

We got our 2012 Lexington 265DS towed to the near Ford Dealer for repair.

They replaced the extended brake line (due to the extended chassis of the E450) that was rusted,
Earlier, this month, DW read on a FB group that it happended to other Sunseeker/Forester RV owners.

Happy ending story for us !

Have a peek under there.

Thanks for the suggestion. While installing my inverter a month ago, I was under the MH on my roller and inspected everything, wiring fuel lines brake lines and under the transmission and engine. All looked well. No rust here in SoCal, mild climate.

But, if you'r locared near the sea, salty air environment can do the same effect on steel tubing. It will appear as small white dots rather than rusty dots.

Up here, we are granted with humidity, cold, snow and melting salt on the roads. The effects of corrosion still stand for a while in springtime.

April is coming, dewinterization is on my schedule. Hoping for a safe season if the pandemic is giving a break.

Had to use Seafoam on Genny late into 2nd trip

So I have made 2 trips now and the tires are fine. Burned out all the old gas with no issues with the V10 engine. But the genny suddenly developed surging. I had exercised it monthly with a load. Had no issues up in Yosemite and the first 2 days at Rincon parkway. But on the third day, it began to sure after start up. Came home and tried it and surged very badly. So I watched the video on Seafoam to clean out the fuel system. Bought a gallon of fresh gas and 4' of 1/4" fuel hose. Followed Seafoam's instructions of procedure, mixture and run times and it worked. The genny purrs with easy startup and running smooth after 3-4 hours with load. I'm going to change the oil in the next few days, have air and fuel filter coming today from Amazon. So everything will be fresh.

i use seafoam in all the equipment at the ranch when I put them away for winter and have never had a problem with gas going bad. I did the same thing to the generator on my class A with the exception I added seafoam to the main tank and cleaned the engine also and stopped the surging of the generator (took about 6 hours of running)

It still has a very very slight surge but voltage and Hz are constant. I will give it another treatment from the gallon of gas and seafoam mixture. Should I change fuel filter first or after treatment?

Did another run with fresh gas and Seafoam and changed fuel filter. What a job as I couldn't get the new filter started by hand. Took almost 30 minutes. ended up takiong out board and solenoid to allow more room. Finally got filter started and ran for a while. Then changed the air filter and oil. Up and running. Will see tomorrow if the second treatment helps with the slight idle surge after warming up.
