In my Sunseeker 3050 there are two TVs, front and back. The back seems to be hooked to the outside cable only and the front to the King Digital Antenna. How can the front be hooked to the pedestal cable connection?
First when using park cable ensure your power booster is off. Then in TV settings ensure TV is set to cable then run a channel scan.
If this is a new rig and you have checked the above you need to check wiring connections at the power booster.
Yes the power booster is a little button on the plate that lights red or green. It needs to be OFF when using park cable. The connection all by itself is probably your satellite connection that comes from the roof
I don't have a satellite. I'm still wondering what that might be. Talked to the dealer which is like talking to a 3rd grader about higher physics. Basically no clue.
Very simple the white plate is your booster. Light on is over the air antenna. Light off is park cable which you connect to side of rig. The brown plate with the male connection is a wire feed to your roof. It allows you to connect a satellite dish on roof. All the wiring is already installed. You would connect your satellite box to the brown plate.
Then an hdmi cable from satellite box to the female hdmi brown plate above the white plate.
That seems to make sense. I'm shock that Forest River had the foresight to prewire the coach for satellite. I had visions of duct tapeing a cable down the side and punching out a window. Thanks alot, you have been a great help.
