Traveling with an infant

My grand daughter is 6 month old and was wondering if she could ride in our forester. Where would I put the car seat?

There should be child seat tethers behind the cushion of the bench seating

I apologize that I don't know your layout. But with a 6-month old, I would only put her into a seat that is rear facing with a seat belt.

Otherwise, a better option might be to take 2 vehicles.

At what age did she start having these conversations with you?

With the horseshoe dinette in our 2500TS, we do have a rear facing set of seatbelts for my baby boy. Alternatively, there is the passenger seat, but we haven't even considered that.

Take your grandchild, strap her in per the car seat instructions. Drive as carefully as possible. Life is precious and time with our loved one's is limited.

With the U shaped dinette we have there is one position that is rear facing right behind the driver's seat. It has upper anchor but you must use the lap belt (no lower LATCH system). Also, we take out the foam cushion to get a tighter fit and turn the table sideways or take it out.
