As for the display. Ours came with a Pioneer, which was terrible. I switched to the Sony AX1000 hoping it would be better. Still washed out display which is mainly due to it facing directly back and glare from the sun. Sony now has a AX8000 unit with a much larger display that has some adjustability in it. I may look into that.

My unit doesn't have side cameras since they were noice and started adding them a few months later. I am going to add them myself as it's not that hard to do. While I was at it I am planning on adding a front camera as well and get the monitor from RVS that actually replaces the useless rearview mirror. I amy then get another rearview camera and wire it in as well to have a better view in the rear.
I’m really curious as to why you would want a front camera.

The reason is sometimes you get into a tight area. Some campgrounds allow people to park along the road, etc. the front camera just provides a little more visibility up front when needed to know how close you are to something. Not needed all of the time, but since most monitors have multi camera support, it’s not a big deal to just wire one in.
