A lot of us here know the feeling.....Post your issue/problem and maybe one of us can give you an easy fix. Good luck and welcome.

Dcamp. Slide pout problem.

This rv has never been used yet I bought it new 3 months ago. Has been Back to dealer four different times for house batteries want hold a charge or charge. Got it back home three weeks ago still the same problem. I was going to let the slide out to show my son how it works, but the front went out and the back of the slide stay in. Get in mind this is one large slide out. How it's cocked and want go out or in. So I can't move it. The dealer and forest rever want help so I'm stuck here with it in the driveway.

Why won't the dealer help? What did they say when you asked?
I find it odd that on a brand new purchase (you said 3 months old) that your dealer won't give you any help whatsoever??

Do you know what type make the slid is? Google how to bring in manually. I try to refrain for putting slide out on bat. power. As far as bats. go, three weeks sitting with some of the things that are always on can lower the bats voltage. I also level before putting out the slide.

They don't have a travel tech to come out, I talk to one of their techs and tried several things he recommended but that didn't work.

It's a slim rack slide. And it's hooked up to power and parked on a level pad.

There must be a way to manually bring it in.

Slideout

According to the tech there's not,we tried reversing to controller wires but it didn't work. I guess you have to unhook the motors and try to push the slide. And I'm no rv mechanic and with a bad back so I'm not really sure what to do.

Here's the Owners Manual for (I believe) your Lippert Slide System. Trouble shooting page 3 and override page 4.

Do you have the manual? I did a Google search for the manual and there is a 1/2 inch square drive that takes a 15mm 12 point socket.

New unit still under warranty with the dealer not coming to the rescue, call Forrest River and ask what they suggest.

There may be a Mobil repair service that Forrest River approves. Worth the try. May even be better then your dealer!

hook up to shore power electrically forget the battery power for now.press slide fully out hold switch for at least 10 secs after everything stops moving. then hit slide in when it moves in keep switch depressed for at least 10 secs after everything has moved in . try this if does not work then you have to disengage slides manually should be in your owners manual for slide

I have 32 foot forest river 3051s 2015 its similar to the sunseeker

You are suppose to have your generator running or shore power to extend the slide not to be used on battery power according to the manual
