water heater de-winterization question
I am a new owner of a 2018 forest river forester class c.
I have turned the water on, flushed out the antifreeze . Problem is I can't get water to come out of the water heater where the plug goes. Is there a by pass somewhere, because if there is I can't find it! I don't think water is going to the water heater. Don't want to turn it on until I know there's water in it it. Thanks for your help!

Bypass valve(s) are generally on the back of your water heater. I can't tell you which panel to remove to access them - but, hopefully, another owner can tell you.

I searched the Forester sub-forum for "bypass" and found this (among others) ==> http://www.forestriverforums.com/for...ng-173020.html. Maybe it will help.

Mine is behind a panel below the sink with 4 screws. Remove the panel. Turn the three valves to open cold in hot out and bypass off.
Hope this helps. rch

Who winterized the unit for you? Absolutely, until you get water flowing through, don’t turn on the heater.

After turning the bypass valve(e) in proper positions fill the Water Heater Tank and don't forget to help the air out by releasing the overflow valve.
