what Bilstein shocks

Can someone tell me the difference between standard and comfort. I have a 2016 2010DS I'm going to upgrade the shocks on. What would be best?

Are these the correct part numbers?

B6-Comfort front:33-187563 rear:33-176840

B6-Standard front:33-187570 rear:33-176857

I would call either the Bilstein tech support or Shock Warehouse number and get good info directly.

There is no such thing as "standard" shocks, as you have listed. There is comfort and heavy duty (HD). 33-187570 shock you have listed is the B6 4600 HD shock ... not "standard."

If you do a quick Google search on "Bilstein comfort vs heavy duty," you'll find pages and pages of various forum opinions.

Good luck.

A better question might be “Why Bilstein Shocks?” Why not Koni FSD’s? (poor puppy)

I had seen a couple of forum posts in the past claiming poor reliability of the KONI's. Can you tell me a little more why you prefer them. I have time to research a bit. I plan to upgrade to something before March when my wife and I will be traveling around the US.

I put the hd on my 3010. Rides much nicer. I called someone about which one to get and they said because of the weight get the hd.

1. I asked a question. There was no knocking of anything.
2. The poor puppy comment, in parenthesis, was an acknowledge to the statement in 67L48s signature block as I used the “puppy killer” in my response.
3. TBD
