What is in your tool box?

Can you share with us what is in your toolbox and why you have them? See mine attached.
  • Do you recommend anything else to carry that got you out of a jam?
  • Anything in my kit you think I won't need or I am duplicating?
I change my chassis oil and filter, maintain my Genset including changing the oil, fuel filter, and spark plug, and clean the spark arrestor although I don't use it as much after I installed solar. I can repair or replace small items around the house like a water pump, but not much around the engine. I didn't have to anyway. I carry an oil drain container and a couple of funnels for fluids. I do my best to seal any water entry although it seems impossible to keep water out 100% of the times. I keep watchful eyes on tire pressure and add as needed.

My rig is five years old with 29K miles on it and in good condition. I boondock a lot so I prefer to be ready instead of waiting forever on the man to repair things for me.

Thanks in advance for your comments.

I carry about the same selection. I even have a set strapped behind the seat of my golf cart. Only thing I keep handy always is my trusty Leatherman super tool.

Duct Tape and WD40!
And way too much other tools. Three boxes in the truck. One with mechanic tools ( screw drivers, wrenches, sockets, hammer, etc... ) second tool box electrical stuff ( multi-meter, pliers, wire stripper, connectors, electric tape, spare wire, ..... ) The third box hardware ( rivets, rivet tool, screws, fasteners, sealant, sealant tape, etc.... )
Also an air compressor, 2 screw jacks, tire wrench, electric drill driver set. I am sure there is more back there. The tool collection has been growing for the last 40 years. Every few years I thin it down a bit, but then think, I might need that some day, and everything ends back in the truck.
