Ditto with my 64 Impala SS.

I don't remember, it's been so long ago. I think it was rubber because the engine growled a little more when I stepped on it.
I suppose your gonna tell me that I shouldn't stand on the engine while it's running.

OK, So if I have this straight probably crooked, it is either some sort of squeegee sharpener thing-a-ma-bob, tied to someone else's sensor/muffler bearing bouncing rubber balls, brake controller connection, diagnostic port, engine block heater, or for some extra switches currently not installed.
Hmmmmmmmm
Think i will go with the later as my squeegee's are all sharp.
Thanks

It is clearly marked in all Ford wireing diagrams.
Also, be advised there is NO Right Handed Squeegee Sharpener. The Ford Engineers determined that if standing outside of the vehicle, looking at the front of said vehicle, the Left Handed Squeegee Sharpener then becomes the Right Handed Squeegee Sharpener. They figured that having 2 Squeegee Sharpeners would be much too confusing to repair tech's at Ford Dealerships.

This only holds true when you have a extra capacity blinker fluid reservoir.

OP, with all the joking and puns going on, I think the message is no one knows for sure what that connector is for. You'll have to ask your local Ford dealer.

X2.
Shadogang, this is what happens when you get a bunch of old farts togather, talking about something that not one of us has any idea what the original question was about.
It's all in fun, and has Scrapper suggested, check with a ford tech. Take a pic on your phone and I'm sure the tech will know what it is.
Have fun in your rig, and on the forum.

REALLY, those were not real guesses. Lol. I am all for humor. You guys had me laughing saying Bast***s. No worries though, I will check with a Ford dealer locally.

Glad you got a chuckle, some of us have too much time on our hands, especially since camping season in the northern areas is coming to a close.
Edited to include our neighbors to the north.
Have fun and enjoy.

The plug looks like the a brake controller connection I had in my old Ford. New Ford has controller built in. The plug is not OEM.

Looks like a connector for the dualfocal metering valve, I'd say.

This plug is the gorbasilis modulator valve that controls the speed of the squeegee shaving so it doesn’t take out the primary and secondary bearings on the fan clutch.
