What's it for Sunseeker 3010DS?
We just picked up our new RV and we see there are 2 light switches on the wall by the closet. As you walk in the bedroom, they are to your right.
One is for the lights and the other doesn't seem to work on anything. Does anyone know what it is for?
We didn't think to ask the dealer and aren't scheduled to go back for awhile.
Plus, we found round bars with rubber ends, that look like shower curtain rods. They are about 18 1/2" long. They were stuck in a drawer, so we didn't see them through the walk through.
Thanks

The bars are for the slide out, if you have to manually push the slide in, then they go above the slide inside the MY to keep the sliDr. From going out as you travel down the road. We do not have 2 light switches one
Only one in the bedroom on that side. The other side is our slide out switch.

Thanks, I thought those bars had something to do with the slide, I guess they forgot to mention them.
There are definitely two switches, maybe they ran out of singles and just put a double and the second one is dead. I put that on my list to ask the dealer.

I wonder if it is for the vent opening if you would put a powered fan in. Or, does it already have the fan put in and it would turn it on?

I figured it out, I just happened to be facing the living area when I tried it. It turns on a little light by the floor. Couldn't see that when I was facing the bed.

Same thing happened when we were walking through the 2860DS. Couldn't figure it out, but happened to have the door to the bathroom opened and realized it was a light built into the cabinet near the floor.

As a rule we now drive with our short slide rods wedged between the outside wall and the rear of the facia board of the slide. We have witnessed on several occasions when driving in extremely bad cross winds (usually out west on I40) that the slide is forced open by an inch to an inch and a half by the pressure of the wind. The first time was a bit alarming and we actually opened or cracked the side windows to reduce the cabin pressure which helped.
Since then we just drive with them in all the time FWIW.

I'm Glad to here they put a light at the step coming out of the bath shower area. My 2014 3010ds did not have any light so after a couple of almost face plants stepping into to the kitchen area I mounted a motion sensing light at that location. Also put one in the bathroom and at the stair well exiting the coach. All good now!

We also have used night lights for years in the area near the bathroom,,, no need to turn a light on when making one of several trips to the Pottie !!!

Ditto on the night lights! Have them at the stairwell and bathroom. My 3 girls (Shelties) need to see where they are going at night! ☺

We have one of the motion lights at the entry step when you come in the door. Makes a big difference.
You should come to BamaGanza rally, we also have 3 Shelties (sorry for the crooked picture)
