What's your (sleep) number?
Thinking of getting a sleep number for the coach, we love the one in the house. Would like to hear any experiences with the short rounded queen.....

Absolutely hated ours but everyone will have their own opinion of what is comfortable.

Dreamair RV round corner queen went in our SS before our first night Lou. I was initially concerned what it would feel like, since it was going to be on a plywood platform vs the special platform our sleepnumber is on at home, but you don't feel it. We are very satisfied. The thickness is comparable to the original "deluxe" mattress and our closet doors do clear it, just like the original.

Harder than 45, softer than 50. Sadly, I can't fine tune it.
My wife is 70.
We have a regular queen. We like the ability to adjust each side.

We love our DreamAire RV King size mattress. Mine is set at 50 and the Wife is set at 70. We had to get something to replace the original mattress in our 5th wheel. It would always cave in on you and you would just sink into the factory mattress. The DreamAire is so much more comfortable and we sleep great on it.

We mostly love ours. The only problem we have is we need to reset the firmness just about every night. If you i Look at the remote, it says the firmness is set the way I left it, but it bottoms out and must be re-inflated. There may be a leak, so I will need to call SleepNumber.
Also, be aware that the numbers are different, depending on whether you on laying on it or not, when inflating. For example, if you set it for 30, without some one on it, it will be much more firm than if you set it to 30 while laying on it while you inflate it.
I am at 65 and the DW is at 35.

I didn't like my house bed for several weeks. Then I found a customer service person who told me the right way to figure my "number". After that, I wouldn't trade it. Just wish I could afford one for the camper.

We thought about getting a sleep number mattress. We decided to try a 3 inch foam mattress topper from Costco on top of the original rv mattress. We found that to be very comfortable and have no problem sleeping and spent much less money.

According to Sleep Number, you should always be lying on the bed when you do the settings. When starting out the first time (or if having difficulty finding your number), lie on the bed, start at 100 and then go down until you feel comfortable. Sleep on that for a night or two and then adjust up or down in increments of 5.

65 / 70
We have a sleep number at home. I'm a 65 and my wife is a 70. in hindsight its a gimmick as you set it to the firmness you like. Leave it and check it once and a while.
