I have had no problems with the braided extenders that pop rivet to the center cap
Pressure sensors may be in the cards but I haven't had a pressure loss and the addition of the extenders makes pre trip checking and adjusting a 10 min part of my pre flight (along with my air bags)

Wheel covers on shelf in garage

I had my tires replaced last week and decided to keep the rear wheel covers off. The tech cleaned my wheels while replacing the tires and they look great. The white wheels match the white RV.

Ihave not decided what I will do with the front wheel covers but I will probably leave them off after checking my tire pressure.

The tech also lined up my duels so the tire valves are one behind the other and I can now see them. I saw a discussion on this forum about having the duels lined up properly. I would never have guessed that so I am grateful to the members who mentioned that. I don't recall their names.

Thanks to all who participated in this thread.

Don't be sorry as I agree. But I have replaced six tires and also had twi house batteries installed this month. Anything for the wheels is now lower down on my list because I like it as it is and glitz can wait awhile.

Have you checked in to having your OEM wheels chromed or powder coated? With the ridiculous price of Alcoa aluminum wheels for my "W" I'm looking at those options.
