Where is 3051S fresh water tank?

3051S owners....Can anyone tell me if the fresh water tank is located under the bed? I have not pulled up the mattress and plywood to see what's under there.
Thanks

I have a 3051S. As far as I know the fresh water tank is located beneath the wardrobe area. There is storage under the foot of the bed. Not sure what else.

I have not pulled the plywood to look but based on other discussions on here it is under the head portion of the bed frame.

Foot half storage and head half fresh water tank.

I own a 3051 and I have removed the plywood under head portion of the bed. No water tank there. just wires and junction box.

Not sure about this, but it would seem logical that the tank is on passenger side behind the wheels since the fresh water tank input, the water pump, and the fresh water tank drain are all in the same neighborhood. But who says as to logical design?

Yeah, now that I think about it...the tank probably wouldn't be under the bed because the bed is attached to the slide and moves in and out when the slide is moved. I was wanting to know the location to find out if the tank was in an area that would not be subject to freezing if it was not completely drained.

The fresh water tank is below the forward bedroom wardrobe cabinet. If you remove the upper forward side panel in the large rear storage compartment (the one that the light is mounted on) you will see the side of the tank with the sensors. The lower shelf in the linen cabinet (between the two wardrobes) the shelf is not as deep as the top one, this is to provide room for the water fill line to the tank.

Under the forward section of the bed is the plumbing and wiring that connects the utilities in the slide to the chassis plumbing & wiring.

The tank does touch the outside wall so I would expect it would freeze easily if the temps were low enough.

The tank is mounted, as above, with two mounting strips on the out-board side providing some air space.

Thanks for your service!
Your 3051 water system sketch is fantastic. Really helpful to understand the route of fresh water system in the coach.
Do you happen to have sketches for:
  • Grey Water?
  • Black Water?
  • 12 Volt Electrical?
  • 120 Volt Electrical?

You are very welcome, happy Thanksgiving!

I will try to get the House Battery configuration for you, hopefully this thread will remain open in the meantime.

FR Tech Support

However, you have to be very patient.

I have had very good support from both FR and my Dealer, (Canopy Country RV, Ellensburg WA.)

Really! I was told FR won't give out diagrams or parts list. I desperately needed the wiring diagram to rewire my outdoor speakers and some switches on the Convenience Panel. Had to figure it out myself. Do you have a phone number or email address of FR tech support?

For the 'Forester' models, contact Dan*Dobecki, his information is attached.

If no cooperation, call the main switchboard # 574-206-7600, I believe and ask for Tech Support for your model RV

I too have had good support from Dan and his predecessor for both warranty parts and a few prints. As you said you must be patient.
