Where is fresh water tank [emoji35]

We are about to go nuts. We need fresh water (only owned this 2018 Forester 30111DS for 2 weeks. Where is the fill? We are dry camping. in relative's driveway. No current videos or manuals are useless. Dealer did not do thorough training! Middle of night by mistake filled black and grey tanks. It is not in shower hose outside location either. Here is pic. Fresh Water Fill

The fresh water fill is the where the round screw off cap is located just above and the to the left of where your outdoor shower access door is located. There is a caution sticker just under it.

I did that but it filled black and grey tanks, not fresh water. I also reset monitor panel to make sure that was reading levels right. We are not doing something right.

Not sure where it is on 3011 but it will have sticker below that says "potable water only......". I has a cap that will come off with only a slight turn. It does NOT have a fitting to connect a hose to and the opening is big enough to stick the end of the hose into. There is also a small hole with a screen just above the opening which is the breather/overflow vent. Check the other side of the coach. I know some have the fresh water fill on the right side.
Hope this helps.

Unless it has changed since 2014, it's on the other side of the camper from the black tank flush or inlet for city water

So a related question. My Cedar Creek does not have a potable fill tube, just the valve to turn to have the city water diverted to the fresh tank. How does one sanitize the fresh tank without being able to pour Clorox in it? Only thing I can think of is set the valves for winterization, bypass the hot water heater, and pump Clorox into the tank with the RV antifreeze hose? All my previous RVs have had the dedicated pour inlet like this thread started with.

Pour the Clorox into the water hose before connecting to your Cedar Creek. After connection is made, then turn on the city water supply.

How would you put fresh water in the RV with a water can, not hose?

On my 26RR, I cannot screw a water hose to the TT to fill the fresh water tank. I have a 6 gallon jug from Walmart (one of the flat sided ones) which has a pour spout and fits into the 'Potable Water Inlet'. If using that, I just premix the sanitizing solution and pour it in.
I also have a squirt nozzle which I can put on the water hose ~ I can add the Clorox into the hose, the ensure the squirt nozzle is off, then turn on the water supply -- put the squirt nozzle in the inlet and gently turn the squirt nozzle on to force the mix into the holding tank. Just have to guess how much you're filling or have someone watch the sensor lights for you.

If you have to use either of these methods, just be gentle so you don't slop the mixture or straight Clorox onto you or in your face.

Pour the sanitizer in the hose before you connect it.

I took a funnel and attached a short piece of hose to it to fit into the tank filler. I just fill the tank about half full using the regular fill hose and then put the hose with the funnel in and pour the Clorox from the measuring cup into the funnel, pour some rinse water in and continue filling the tank until it is full. That mixes the Clorox inside the tank. After that, I open the faucets inside until I smell the bleach, then fill the tank until it is full again. After everything is sanitized, I drain the tank but leave the lines, which I rinse out with fresh water from the city connection. It seems to work pretty well.

I adapted the cap from a bottled water jug. I put a small hole in the cap to vent air. Fill the jug, snap on the cap, and invert. Gravity does the rest.

gkochel, pour the sanitizer into the hose, hook it up and turn on. That's what I have to do.

If you have the same fill as our Sunseeker has,,, you will find the best way to fill is with a short hose with no end on it, so you can put the hose in a couple of feet,,, and fill very slowly !!!

Where is fresh water tank [emoji35]

I have a related issue: 2017 FR 2401W mbs.
While I know where and how to fill and sanitize the on-board fresh drinking water tank, I am at a loss to find where the drain hose shut-off valve or switch is located. It is definitely in an open position, as the tank fill then quickly drains out through a small hose coming out of the tank side. I have checked under the rig, under bathroom sink where water filter is located (near where only a check valve/vacuum breaker is located).
Only other possibility is the winterization switch that I put to "normal".
Thanks for any help.

p.s. I agree, the walk through by the dealer as well as the manuals are really deficient, and generally useless for much of the rig's operation.

On our 2400W the drain valve was located behind a access panel on the center rear area underneath the coach. Crawl under the rear of your unit and you should see the panel. Ours was a white circular panel about 6 inched in diameter you unscrewed for access. The fresh water tank drain valve was located just inside that panel. The low point drains were also located inside that panel on loose flex hoses. That made it "fun" fishing around for them...
