If automatic, remove cover. The small plastic reservoir is opaque and you can see the fluid level. The fill is on top and difficult to add. Mine are 3 years old and even with a little weeping, never had to add. But to add, you will need a large bore needle, think horse from farm supply, and a length of small hose, think washer hose, . There is no drain, so no way to easily change. I am thinking that the oil does not need changing.
