Window shades for Forester 2401R Mercedes Sprinter

I loved how the View has integrated shades. We tried the cutting our own out of silver reflective material but it doesn't stay up well. Any ideas for how to cover the front and side cab windows?

We used two different systems. Outside we had an external ADCO windshield cover. It worked great and really keeps the heat down. See Here Inside we used the pre-cut reflective covers from High End Motorsports. See Here While both worked very well, the ADCO is great for storage or longer stays...

I’m looking at HEM’s as well. How do the side window shades stay up?
TIA
Ducky

Very well... They use suction cups so expect "circles" on your windows.

We use the outside windshield and driver, passenger side window cover. It goes around the mirrors and uses magnets to secure. We like the privacy and the shade, also easy to put on.

I bought this https://www.dashdesigns.com/p-37139-...ble-shade.html for my front windshield. A little lightweight, but real easy. For hot bright sunlight I bought a lightweight 4 foldout one. Much lighter than ones that came with it. For the side windows I bought the dollar store windshield cover (mylar), adapted it and used suction cups to hold it in place. Quick and easy. I think I bought Dash item from AutoGeek?

HEM are easy to put into place...store easily...are inside so don't get wet or dirty. Come cut to fit the MBS (or others available). Recommend. We turn the silver side to the inside in cold weather to reflect the heat back into the coach.

The simplest way for me I discovered when my side reflectix didnt want to stay in place; suction cups come off and I didn't want to use velcro. I happened to have a large umbrella, trekking poles/ cane and use any of them over the reflectix on the window. They hold in place well. ( I suppose cutting a dowel would work but I'm lazy.)

I have the same model, 2401R, and I use High End Motorsports front and side shades. They are and exact fit and attach with suction cups. The interior is much cooler and darker in the morning. I called them direct 916-774-6686, and ordered over the phone. $4.95 shipping and I had them in a few days. Excellent product and I highly recommend it. I store them in the upper bunk.

I have High End Motor Sports front & side shades for my Solera and my SUV. The suction cups don't stay on very well for me.

We rec’d magnetic shades with our 2017 2401W in August of 2016. They do a great job and truly keep it dark but the windshield shade was a little cumbersome to put up, so we bought a separate windshield shade similar to the above HEM that is very quick to put up

Our 2017 2400$ has the "Camper Package" and came with the "Privacy Front Cab Magnetic Black Out Shades". These are a perfect fit for the inside front and side windows of the cab and really darken the area, plus insulates. I bought, and tried, the rollup shiny thing with the suction cups - not very happy with it and it is now stitting in my shop collecting dust. When I bought the shiny stuff, I did not realize I have the privacy shades as it was never mentioned in the PDI, so basically blew $70.
