Winterization Procedure - First time in a SS

We had a great first season in our 2016 - 2650 SS.

Unfortunately up in Canada the weather is starting to drop below freezing at night time. I have at least one more trip planned in Sept so I have left the furnace on at the lowest settings to ensure it doesn't freeze.

Planning to winterize after that trip.

What is everyones procedure for winterizing - particularity with the hot water tank. Ours has a drain plug but it is difficult to access because of a propane line.

You will have to drain your hot water heater or you will be replacing it.

I did a video on it. Sad to think you have to put it away so early.

Your in Georiga, why put it away so early? Last year, our last trip to Gettyesburg last year was in Jan and 16 degrees over night. This year we are going south in Dec till March.

Oh, that video was done a couple seasons ago. That was to help the OP in Canada. I haven't put mine away yet this year. Probably early November when I do it.

Oh! Had me worried for a minute! Never to cold to camp. We hit a place in Maryland and all they have is electric.

We have the 2650sf and pretty much do as gmacklem does in his video. Some of the drains are in different locations. Your drain for the water tank(if like mine) is under the bed left hand side of tank, low point drains are behind the rear passenger side tires, I usually give everything a blast of air with an adapter thru the city fill. i use a open end wrench to remove the HW drain plug. The HW bypass is the panel underneath kitchen counter, water filter is under the bed along with the anti freeze fill tube. We're looking to keep going into December(knock on wood) with judicious use of blowing lines with air and anti freeze in traps before we button up totally
