Angry wrong water tank??

Hi,

I have a sunseeker TS2380 2019 and I don't have what it's said on the specs sheat. supposed to be 35 gallons and I only have 25. Also the overflows is at the 2/3 of the level. I checked under and it is a Forest River product. Then I checked the vent beside the water connector and there is no hose behind.

Is there someone with the same issue?

Thank you.

Den

They play games with specs. The say you have 35 gallon fresh water, but don't tell you that includes water in water heater, etc.

Often the tank’s water outlet is on the side, near, but not at the bottom. For a given size tank, you might be able to put that much water in, but you can’t get that much out, except maybe if you park the motorhome on a hill, with the outlet fitting on the downhill side. Sometimes maybe something like 5 gallons could be trapped in the tank since the water outlet may be on the side, not the bottom. It’s a joke the way they build these things.

Does your TS have a tankless water heater?

Is the 25 gallon capacity marked on the tank?

You have a 10 liter, or roughly 2.5 US gallon, tank in the Truma Combi. Not a lot but it sure could take awhile to drain it when winterizing the unit.

We had a 2390, the 2380s predecessor, and it was a bear to get more than 15 gallons in to the fresh water tank.
