We stayed at Pismo Coast RV park. It was nice but campsites are close together. We would stay there again. It is close to the beach but not many sites have an ocean view. Those that do are booked months in advance.

We are headed that way next week and are staying at the Pismo Coast RV Park for 3-4 days. I'll post after I get there.

We tried to get into both Pismo Coast Village and Pismo Sands from 12/26 to 1/2, no joy at either park.

Hopefully you'll have better luck with your shorter stay, the managers at both parks told me the week after Christmas is always full and booked well in advance.

If you are an Elk, they have a nice camp ground at the Oceano Lodge. No sewer hook ups but does have water and elect. Unfortunately it is first come first serve. Another is Pacific Dunes Ranch RV park, also in Oceano and has full hookups. Two or three state campgrounds are in the area, don't know what is open this time of year. Several other nice campgrounds are in Avila Beach.

I would do a google search for campgrounds in Avila Beach, Oceano and Pismo Beach

My husband and I camped here so often over the past 35 years that we decided to move to the area at retirement.

We have camped at both Pismo Coast Village and Pacific Dunes Ranch, prefer PCV but it is booked up a year in advance, PDR is not bad but is located on the backside of the dunes and on a windy day you can get sand blasted.

Try Oceano State Beach Park campground, it's a nice place, although a bit cold that time of year. The Pismo Coast rv park I believe is next to the train tracks
