Bad place to eat in Hurricane, Utah

Baristas

460 W State St, Hurricane, UT 84737-1968 (435) 635-9100 () ‎

The above resturant located in Hurricane, Utah is about the most ridiculos place to have a meal as I have ever encountered. We just got back from a 10 day road trip and the above "resturant" is one place you want to avoid. If you search the place for reviews on the internet, you will find Reviews describing what my wife and I, and several couples, fell prey to as hungry patrons (victims) last week.

The prices are higher than you can imagine and the food is not good.
They do not take charge cards, tea refills are extra and no glass of water is avaiable, plus the service is so slow that it took about 45 minutes to get our meal.

Wow - it looks like LOTS of folks felt the same way including a large group of German tourists. Interesting reading: Price gouging + a lot of ego = bad business plan - Review of Barista's Diner, Hurricane, UT - TripAdvisor

Sorry you had a trip marred by this rotten experience.

That's why we have loaded all the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives on our GPS that were visited by Guy Fieri on the popular Food Network Show. There is a free file containing all the POIs for these available through POI Factory which is updated regularly by volunteers. We will sometimes plan a stopping point on a location nearby one of these restaurants.
